Pelvic girdle pain (abbreviated PGP) is a pregnancy discomfort that causes pain, instability and limitation of mobility and functioning in any of the three pelvic joints.
This project aims to create a chair that can alleviate the discomfort and enable more functionality for the PGP patient. We have created a functional prototype that was tested by a small group of 4 patients for a limited time. Though the feedback is encouraging, we need to expand the test with a larger group of minimal 10 patients for a prolonged period of three months minimum to compare to a control group using normal office chairs.
The project aims to raise Eur 12.500,- now to fund the validation test.
